We don’t set up Private Ministerial Associations (PMA’s). PMA’s are not a legitimate 508(c)(1)(a). We state this on our website under FAQ’s and on one of our videos from our attorney and CPA.
There is also court case history against PMA’s. One example is Steeves v. IRS, 2020 WL 5943543 (S.D.C. 2020). This case had to do with a defense contractor who set up a PMA called Camp Noble and claimed it was an integrated auxiliary of a church. The IRS investigated the PMA and found it to be a Tax Fraud scheme.
Avoid using PMA’s as they can lead to legal complications and may not provide the protections you seek. For a legitimate 508(c)(1)(a) organization, which offers true tax-exempt status and legal credibility, please contact us. We can guide you through the proper process to ensure your organization is compliant and secure.
